Romans 11:1-2a, 29-32
It’s interesting how there are days when I can write something only to read the bible passage for that day and feel something of an affirmation to what I had just written.
More and more as I continue to work with God and as I continue to embark upon a new premise for my own life, I find that God is doing something so remarkable in my life that I cannot be more grateful or more joyful than I am.
Perhaps that is because there have certainly been times in my life when I felt like and had convinced myself that God had rejected me, all the while when God hadn’t. Unfortunately, I think that’s a message that people can allow to be imprinted in their lives and that imprint makes them feel defeated and beyond redemption. But that’s not how God works. God loves because God is love. God is continually creating and sometimes that loving creating means re-creating.
God has not taken anything from me and God doesn’t take anything away from you. When you realize this, and when you realize that God’s loving purpose is creating and re-creating, you live into that and that new creation inspires others that their lives can be different as well.
PLEASE PRAY WITH ME: Loving and creating God, thank you for never giving up on me even when I have given up both on myself and on you. Thank you for helping me to see the things I get to see when you continually bring me to a new awareness and appreciation of the world you are continually creating in and through love. Amen.
