If you're searching for ways to share your gifts with others, and possibly even receive something in return...

Join us for an Open House and Ice Cream Social, Saturday September 6th, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Our doors will be open for you to explore opportunities for you to share your gifts and we promise to share God's gift with you! Come and tour through our facilities, and along the way meet the Sunday School teachers from preschool to adult, bible study group, choir, praise band, worship team, caring team, service team, and many other ministries. Join us across the street for some good old fashioned home made ice cream, brownies, and all the toppings!

On Sunday, September 7th, join us for Worship in the Park at 10:30 am in Smith Park. This fun filled worship service hosted by the Wahoo and Ithaca congregations is a great celebration of our faith. Bring your lawn chairs and your desire to praise God. Bring a salad or dessert and join us for a pot luck luncheon after the service.

We are excited that you have chosen to visit the electronic home of First United Methodist Church in Wahoo, Nebraska, USA. It is our prayer and sincere hope that through the words and pictures on these pages you will experience some of the joy of belonging to the loving, caring, sharing family at First UMC.

We invite you to join us at any of our congregational activities. We especially extend to you an invitation to join us for worship. On Sunday mornings our summer (June – Labor Day) start time is 10:30 am for worship and our winter (second week in September – May) start times are 9:30 am for Sunday School and 11:00 am for worship. We also have a Saturday Contemporary worship service. There is a fellowship time starting at 5:00 pm with the service beginning at 5:30.

We are truly excited that you have stopped by – whether you are new to the Wahoo/Ithaca area and are looking for a new church home, if you just found us while surfing the web, or if you’re an old friend who has stopped by for a brief visit. Welcome!!
