We are excited that you have chosen to visit the electronic home of First United Methodist Church in Wahoo, Nebraska, USA. It is our prayer and sincere hope that through the words and pictures on these pages you will experience some of the joy of belonging to the loving, caring, sharing family at First UMC.

We invite you to join us at any of our congregational activities. We especially extend to you an invitation to join us for worship. On Sunday mornings our Traditional Worship start time is 10:30 am. Sunday School and Contemporary Worship start at 9:15 am. There is a fellowship time between services from 10:00 am to 10:30 am. Check our calendar for all of the latest times and schedules.

Mission Moment - One of our churh members, Beth, has been in Guatemala for the past 2 months. She will be there for at least 4 more months. In addition to going to school in Antigua, she has been called to serve and help families in desperate need. She is asking you to take a minute and read about the Hernandez family and to consider donating to help her build a house for this family. Thank-you so much for your support!

Through the generosity of the Enola and Delores Larson Family Endowment of the Wahoo First United Methodist Church Foundation, an application for a scholarship in the amount of $1,200 is now available on our Foundation page.

We are truly excited that you have stopped by – whether you are new to the Wahoo area and are looking for a new church home, if you just found us while surfing the web, or if you’re an old friend who has stopped by for a brief visit. Welcome!!
